Global Chefs Managing Director Tim Grubi was snapped last night at the Premier’s Invitation for leading exporters.
When asked to comment on the event Tim said “It was great to catch up with old friends and meet many icons of Australia’s various business and tourism industries. Plus they served the best prawns I’ve had a long time”
Global Chef, as a preferred supplier to Marriott Hotels and Resorts, will be making its first delivery to a Marriott Hotel in Ningbo, PRC in late April.
If successful this will pave the way for future expansion into the growing Chinese Hotel market. Mr Prouse, Director of Sales for Global Chef will meet with the Regional Director of Procurement for the Marriott Group next week to discuss development plans for further roll out to the hotel group in mainland China.
Growth further afield in the Middle East has meant Global Chef has been invited to participate in an innovative suppliers and buyers ordering system being rolled out in the Middle East presently. This will enable existing customers and other hotels in the region to access Global Chef products along with food and equipment products from other suppliers in an easy online system already proven in the region.
Advantages for buyers make the system both competitive and trackable. Global Chef will be online with the new system once the set up process is complete.
Over the last 25 years the founder of Global Chef Mr Tim Grubi has made an enormous amount of loyal customers, contacts, clients, and friends who service the food industry. Mr Grubi has now decided that a great idea would be to help put those who manage the many great hotels from around the world like the Emirates, Four Seasons and The Hilton Hotels in contact with the many students and new comers in the industry who he greatly supports and encourages.
